The Illinois Rental Payment Program is an emergency rental assistance program designed to support households in Illinois that are unable to pay rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The landlord-led application period is now closed.

Tenants can apply for rental assistance beginning at 9:00 am on Monday, June 28th.

Village of Glenview Seeks Applications for Trustee Vacancy

The Village of Glenview is seeking candidates for the position of Trustee to fill a vacancy on the Village board for a two-year term.

To qualify as a candidate for the appointment, the applicant must meet the eligibility requirements of the Illinois Municipal Code for the postion of Village Trustee, including being a registered voter in Glenview and a Glenview resident for at least one year.

Those interestd are asked to submit a statement of interest and a resume. The submission should explain why the applicant should be considered and what knowledge and skill they would bring as a Village Trustee.

Applications can be submitted by mail to the Glenview Village Manager’s Office, 2500 East Lake Avenue, Glenview, IL 60026; by email to lisag@glenview.il.us or online at https://www.glenview.il.us/government/Pages/Commission-Volunteer-Form.aspx. The deadline to submit applications is May 17, 2021
