The Northfield Township government offices are open for in-person visits. Residents are encouraged to make an appointment and will be required to wear a mask while in the Township office.
All Township services are available.
The Northfield Township Food Pantry will continue contactless food distribution and intake for the forseeable future.

Both general and emergency financial assistance are administered according to guidelines adopted by Northfield Township and the State of Illinois. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, $140,419 was distributed in aid with $92,578 spent on administrative costs

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) is a federally funded program that provides support to needy low-income households for utility bill payments. LIHEAP Direct Vendor Payment, is a one-time benefit payment to the utility companies.
Northfield Township residents can apply for LIHEAP remotely by appointment. Please call 847 724-8300 for further details and requirements.
Access to Care
Access to Care is a medical assistance program in Cook County that provides health care services to low income, uninsured individuals who are not eligible for Medicare or Public Aid.
