    About the Township’s Human Services Review Commission

    Northfield Township funds human service agencies that provide services to Township residents. The Northfield Township Human Services Review Commission, made up of resident volunteers, reviews agency applications and makes funding recommendations to the Northfield Township Board of Trustees.

    Township Seeks Residents to Serve on Human Services Review Commission

    Each year Northfield Township funds social service agencies that serve township residents.  This process is overseen by the Northfield Township Human Services Review Commission.

    The Commission is an 11-member volunteer board that reviews agency applications, provides reports and makes funding recommendations to the Northfield Township Board of Trustees.  More information is available at

    Individuals interested in serving on the commission, should be residents of Northfield Township with backgrounds in community or other volunteer service.  High school juniors and seniors are eligible to serve.  Terms are three years.
